Ray Titus

CEO - United Franchise Group

Ray Titus, CEO of United Franchise Group and its affiliated companies, is the son of franchise pioneer Roy Titus, founder of Minuteman Press International, Inc., who along with Ray, co-founded Signarama.

As the company’s president since 1995, Ray has led Signarama to phenomenal growth, with more than 1,000 stores in 50 countries, and today, he serves as CEO. The Signarama Corporate Headquarters controls operations for nearly 300 employees in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. It offers support to the remaining countries around the world. The excellent global growth has been recognised by the U.S. Department of Commerce, as well as various franchise and trade organisations.

Because of his continued success, he feels it is important to give back to the franchising community by providing his knowledge and resources. Ray is affiliated with many organisations, however primarily involved with the following: Franchise Education Strategic Advisory Board at NOVA South Eastern University, the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches, President and Board of Directors of the Franchisor Association of Florida, and International Franchise Association Chairman for CEO/President Forums, (South Florida).

In 2007, Ray was awarded the President’s “E” Award from the U.S. Department of Commerce for export excellence, having increased export revenue for the SIGNARAMA brand by 700% in just three years. That same year, Ray was named Ernst & Young’s Florida Entrepreneur of the Year and the 2007 Counsellor International Person of the Year.

Jim Tatem

Jim Tatem

President - SIGNARAMA

Jim Tatem is the President of Signarama. He is one of the first employees and started his company career by running the pilot Signarama store in 1986. Jim was instrumental in creating and running the early training classes, store set-ups, research and development, and field support programs for Signarama. Jim was also heavily involved with the launch of the EmbroidMe pilot store in 2000 and has managed several departments in the company over the years. The training department is responsible for the initial and ongoing training of new franchisees. The global department’s main focus is to launch, support, and develop master license holders for all brands. Jim is a member of the International Sign Association, Digital Print Imaging Association, and Rotary - West Palm Beach Chapter.

Evan Foster

National Director

Evan is the National Director for United Franchise Group and has been with the company since 2006. With over six years of experience in the franchise industry, Evan has experienced everything from franchise sales and support to business development and marketing.

Evan’s role as National Director focuses on building our various brands in Australia and ensuring that they are supported through our Field Operative network. He is also responsible for creating new marketing strategies for the brands and enhancing current marketing programs to help franchisees reach their sales goals. Evan also manages franchise communication and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and Human Resource Management from the University of NSW.

Rob Muratore

Operation Advisor

Rob is already a veteran of the signage industry, having started a signwriting apprenticeship back in 1991, learning both the traditional hand painting and manufacturing skills. In 1998, Rob became the first Production Manager at Signarama Kew, one of our original stores in Australia.

First joining the Signarama Corporate Team in 1999, Rob then had a successful period running his own sign business, Icon Sign Solutions, from 2001 to 2007. Rob rejoined the United Franchise Group team in 2007 as Operations Advisor and provides technical, financial, and business training to our franchisees.

Julian Chong

Julian Chong

Marketing Advisor

Julian joined the United Franchise Group team in early 2010 as Marketing Advisor for our brands in Western Australia. With an extensive background in marketing communications, Julian develops many of the marketing pieces and strategies that our franchisees use to communicate with their customers.

Julian is on the front line of franchisee support and is a great resource for our team of Signarama sign professionals.

Jill Boyd

Office Manager

Jill joined the United Franchise Group Corporate team in 2007 after a distinguished period as owner of Signarama Castle Hill in Sydney's Northwest suburbs. Jill brings to the team the perspective of having been on the other side of the fence by having run her own Signarama store.

Mike Gallagher

National Sales Manager, Australia

Mike is the Regional Vice President for the United Franchise Group in Australia and has been since Feb. 2003. Prior to joining Signarama, between April 1994 and Jan. 2001, Mike was the President of Compusult, a company based in the U.S. providing systems and business consultancy services. In this role, Mike provided franchise networks with consultancy advice concerning information systems and business solutions. Mike now oversees brand development for all of our brands at the United Franchise Group.
