Before and After Frosting
Apr 4, 2024 by Tanya Gardner
Frosting often used for privacy or decorative purposes. Here's what you might expect before and after applying frosting to glass:
Before Frosting:
Clear Glass: Before frosting, the glass surface is transparent, offering little to no privacy and allowing full visibility through the glass.
Unobstructed View: Without frosting, anyone can see through the glass, which might not be ideal for areas where privacy is desired, such as meeting rooms, bathrooms, or storefronts.
After Frosting:
Privacy: Frosting the glass provides privacy by obscuring the view through the glass while still allowing light to pass through. This is particularly useful for conference rooms, offices, or residential windows where privacy is needed.
Diffused Light: Frosted glass diffuses natural light, creating a softer, more comfortable indoor environment by reducing glare and preventing harsh shadows.
Decorative Element: Frosting can also serve as a decorative element, adding texture and visual interest to glass surfaces. It can be customized with patterns, logos, or designs to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the space.
