Lighting up Armidale with Art!

Armidale’s streets are getting a vibrant upgrade with LED aluminium light boxes featuring internally lit translucent digital prints — transforming everyday spaces into eye-catching public art. These illuminated artworks do more than look great at night. They help: Showcase local creativity – providing a platform for artists and community stories. Activate streets after dark – making public areas feel brighter, safer, and more welcoming. Encourage people to explore the city – creating visual landmarks that invite residents and visitors to walk, discover and stay longer. Use energy-efficient LED technology – delivering strong visual impact while keeping power use low. Create shareable moments – colourful illuminated artworks that people love to photograph and share. By blending art, technology and placemaking, these LED light boxes help bring Armidale’s streets to life — day and night. #armidalecouncil #PublicArt #PlaceMaking #StreetArt #CreativeCommunities #RegionalArts #signaramacoffsharbour #LEDSign #digitalprints
