Starting this year off on a high note! If you have ever thought what can Signarama Surry Hills do, these new sky signs or Roof top signs for Aland construction in Liverpool really show our capabilities! These were manufactured in our second store Signarama Wollongong. Made from aluminium pans with acrylic faces for LED illumination they were lifted using a specialty crane 23 stories high! The fabricated letters can be seen day and night even from the M5 motorway. The two "ALAND" signs are 12mW x 1.7mH. The steel frames were made in two halves and were joined on site prior to lifting the signs as a single piece. There is also two single "A's", one of which we needed the help of our regular abseil company #Rigcom. As you can imagine there was a number of hours involved with the project management of this job. From design and manufacture through to the logistics and installation Signarama Surry Hills and Signarama Wollongong did it all. #Aland is a large construction company who also sponsor the Parramatta Eels. The job is located at 387 Macquarie St, Liverpool Sydney. Previously we have produced LED crane signs for them for one of their many building projects. 10 Years ago The Salvation Army Territitorial Headquarters in Sydney came to us with a vision, to have consistent corporate branding.  10 years later together we have achieved that goal across NSW, QLD & ACT. The Salvation Army is made up of family stores, churches, head-offices & community minded centres and are located in nearly ever town across Australia.  Virtually each of the Eastern seaboard locations over the last 10 years has had a make-over.   Each location  sent through a request to the Salvos head-office, Signarama Surry Hills then liased directly with them sending art-proofs matching the branding guidelines we developed together. From there the signs would be manufactured at Surry Hills and sent off to the closest store in Signarama network for installation. I honestly could not tell you how many signs we have made or for how many locations, I have long lost count but I can tell you locations include not only Sydney, Brisbane & Canberra but towns as far away as Mount Isa & Broken Hill. It has been quiet an undertaking when you look at the 10 years.
