With mad-march in full swing now we want to dive into ways to promote your business on the go. With markets around the whole city of Adelaide for the fringe from shows, restaurants, small businesses to WOMADelaide music festival. It’s all in full swing but it’s not too late to get some quick signage to help let your customers know you’re there. Today we will breakdown the best signage for businesses on the move. Firstly, A frames! A Frames are the easiest way to promote your business on the move. Easily set up, you can quickly pull the frame out and have promotion instantly. We often see A frames used as wayfinding signage to help direct people but they are also used for general promotion and specials/sale promotion. For markets/stalls they are great for price lists as they show off your menu/products straight away. Next, Banners and flags! Banners and flags are another super easy way to promote your business. All you need is some cable ties to hang your banner up. A great way to promote your business on a larger scale in front of all you customers. Flags create movement around your stall/store making eye-catching promotions around you. These are great for markets but for the Fringe they are great as they can really make you stand out. With often many shows in the garden of unearthly delights you really want to stand out. Finally cars! Although customers don’t often see the transport for your stock when they are at the stall or show they could potentially see it when you leave. Your customers are everywhere and once they have seen your show or purchased from you, your brand is fresh in their brain making them more incline to follow you on socials or purchase you again. If they see a car wrapped with your logos later, they will remember you. If you are planning on going to any markets or the Fringe, contact us today about any portable promotional signage!

Bright, Colourful and eye catching is exactly what neon signage stands for. There is nothing more exciting and cool than a neon sign. With the latest trends in the world, neon signs are becoming more and more common and demanding. The general public use neon signage for birthdays, occasions or weddings etc. but how can neon signage can influence your business? A neon sign can make your business look on trend and eye-catching. Studies have shown that millennials are the main drivers of trends and can make up a big portion of your customer base, making them more drawn to on trend signage. So what are the benefits? Well high visibility is the main benefit. The day and night time functionality is the main flexibility of these signs. Their bright colours allow them to stand out amongst the crowd, making your business a star in the show. Here at Signarama Hindmarsh & Melrose Park we use a LED neon flex which allows us to manoeuvre the neon into the design you desire. Not only is the LED neon flex easy to move it costs up to 20% less than real neon tubing to run, making your electricity bill smaller. They are also brighter than the neon tubing and require less electricity. Designs are the fun part, working out what you want your sign to say. We recommend classic designs like brand logos, name or short, or clear message. These can also be set on a timer so you can get the best out of your sign and electricity bill. This is something we get asked often because we completely understand how costly car wraps can really be. However, car wraps can really help with increasing visibility for your business basically turning your car into a moving billboard! We love helping our customers create the most eye-catching car wraps that help their business be seen all over Adelaide. Now as expensive as car wraps can be they actually have so many benefits as well as creating a moving advertisement. Our vinyl wraps create a barrier for your factory paint to the world with its durable, protective skin. Basically keeping your company car as new as possible. Thousands of people see your car without even realising they have seen it. A lot of customers have more than likely seen your car without realising and when they need your service they will think of your business. For example; you own a plumbing business and you have just had your business van wrapped by us in Hindmarsh. You drive straight home to your home in Lonsdale driving down south road, the southern expressway and other extremely busy roads. So many people have driven home with you without you realising and picked up on your business name, website and phone number on your van. They go home and don’t think anything of it. However, 2 weeks go by, they have seen your van around and they need some plumbing services then contact you. The whole point of this example is that people have noticed your car wrap and don’t always need your service straight away however, they have been thinking about your business. If you are looking for a quality car wrap done by the professionals located near a busy road, we’re your people. Contact us today!

You may be thinking, why is signage so important? Well signage is all about making your physical presence known. It’s all about giving customers directions to you to potentially buy from you. Overall, you want to create brand awareness from signage and make it as easy as possible for your customers to find you. It doesn’t always have to be about general signage about your business, signage can be fun and about anything. We love creating exciting different signage like window graphics that can be used by businesses promoting sales, new stock, and much more. These can be super eye catching and can really help to get the right people in the door and increase your foot traffic. Continuously changing window graphics can be quite expensive however something like as digital sign can be a lot more cost effective than constant ongoing costs from new window graphics. Now digital signs aren’t cheap either however the 1 off cost over the ongoing costs for the same goal can end up being more appealing. The best thing about signage is the fact that it doesn’t have to be something simple like an ACM panel, it can be anything. From car wraps, to custom neon signage it can be as big or little depending on what your main goal is. Overall, the main importance of signage is the key message you are trying to get across and to reach the right audience with brand awareness. Contact us today about getting your signage for your business.

Business signage ranges depending on our customer’s needs, budget, scale and many more reasons. We always love to work on any scale and love bringing our customers visions to life. We are always asked what should be on my business sign and what is the most important information I need to get some brand awareness. The answer is simple! The main thing we recommend on all signage is your business name. This is your main identity and something people use as a mental que to remember who you are and what you offer. Now you may be thinking “I have a huge business name and there’s no way it will fit” Luckily there is always a way around this. Logos are a great alternative to a huge business name and are often used as they can be more eye-catching and easier to remember for your customers. A lot of people remember things easier with colours, shapes and pictures than words. The next thing we recommend is contact information. People need to know how to get a hold of you so things like a phone number and address is a good idea. A website is also a good idea to add to your sign however, sometimes these can be extremely long or complex, simplifying these or adding your main key words which people can then search you is another alternative to this. Finally people need to know what you offer/sell. Simply put, we recommend adding a little about what you do. People may see your logo and business name and think you offer/sell something completely different. The perfect amount of words is less than 7 words. This may seem like next to none but with the magic of graphics design we can make different things stand out making your sign overall visually appealing. Our amazing graphics design team Skye and Dave have extensive knowledge in signage and always love helping our customers with any signage needs. Call us today to chat about your sign and how we can make it as visually appealing as possible.

What is the purpose of signage? Well signage has many purposes but there are 4 main functions of signage, Identity, Advertise, Give Directions and Public Service. Firstly, Identity is your most important function. This has to do with your brand awareness and conveying information about your brand. This doesn't need to be a story on how to purchase something from your company, it can be as simple as a logo. A logo gives the customer enough to know that your brand is in this proximity or location. Secondly, Advertise! Advertising is how your get your brand in customers minds. Similar to identity, advertising helps convey information to your customers. It doesn't need to be something extravagant, it can be something as simple as a discount. LED message signs are great for this as they can be changed easily by you. Next, Giving Directions. Sometimes it doesn't need to be something crazy huge and expensive to get the point across. We have created directional signs even car park signs that simply have your logo on them which has worked well for our customers. However, there is also the other end of the scale being a huge road side sign directing traffic to your location. This is obviously just as effective, just a lot more expensive. Finally we have public service announcements. This is where LED message signs come back in. Schools and Universities have a great use out of this function because they always have some new information they want to get across to a large audience. All these functions help to bring the real purpose of signage a light. It doesn't always need to be something extravagant, it can be something small and simple that your customers take a liking to. Our friendly team are more than willing to discuss any questions you may have. Get in touch with us today to chat about anything signage.
